Dr. Sumanto Mukhopadhyay is a distinguished cardiologist specializing in structural heart disease and complex coronary interventions. With over 15 years of experience, he is renowned for his expertise in transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI/TAVR) and mitral/tricuspid edge-to-edge repair procedures (MitraClip/Triclip). Dr. Mukhopadhyay has performed over 1000 TAVI/TAVR procedures and 300 MitraClip/Triclip procedures, along with various percutaneous valve implantations and treatments for adult congenital heart diseases.

He is recognized internationally for his contributions to the field, having served as a consultant at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London, one of the UK’s premier cardiac centers. Dr. Mukhopadhyay has been invited to proctor procedures and teach at prestigious centers in the UK and India, including Royal Brompton & Harefield, Liverpool, and Dublin.
